Inner Fender Apron

The front bumper on the late Mavericks stick out way too far. I decided to cut 3.5" out of the bumper brace and welded the flat plate back on to the brace. After bolting the brace and the inner core back to the frame rail, I cut the rubber stone guard about 1.75" where it over hangs the inner core edge using the core as a guide.

The chrome outer shell was then bolted to the bumper core. The chrome shell weights 29 lbs. and the inside core of the bumper is 28 lbs. The complete bumper with mounts, bolts and bumper guards weight 89 pounds. Again, I was surprised at the amount of leaves and trash trapped between the the inner and outer shell.
